I have been involved recently on a working group with the Canadian Standards Association to develop a draft standard method for the quantification of hydroxyl groups in lignin using 31P NMR on derivatized lignins. The method has gone through the round robin phase and internal committee review and is now open for public review. I invite the members of the ValidNMR community to review this draft standard and comment on it through the following link:
