Carlos Amezcua received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the Universidad de las Américas, México. He continued his graduate education and received a Ph. D. in Organic Chemistry from Texas Christian University. He did his postdoctoral work in Molecular Biophysics at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. After his postdoc, he managed the Biomolecular NMR Facility at the same institution for five years. Carlos joined Baxter in 2009 and is currently the NMR group manager.
